How Much Are Pearls Worth
Qi - an experience!
Today I was in Frederick City Palace in Berlin and have the show "Qi" seen. I can tell you that was the absolute Hammer! Since there were performances by various pop songs in new versions, figure skating, high-wire act on Trapetz, sometimes a slightly different version of Swan Lake and and and ...
But the very best, which I had never expected was the performance of a tango-like dance of two men. That was something of sexy, I almost slipped off the chair! * Lol *
I like the music was so familiar from a youtube video and I knew, of course, how the dance would end - with a fiery kiss of the two men! And when the case at the end really came, I could only scream for joy! Since I was probably the only one. All other viewers but seemed very shocked about it to be, especially the älternen gentlemen - retired. But I thought that was just great.
This time the video from youtube. But I'm not sure if these were the same dancers. Imo were both white.

Fed Con pictures and report
Soooo ...
Here, as promised a short report (well, a few things from the PANL) and a few pictures of the Fedcon.
I had my grand entrance as Doci. I was of course a pure bundle of nerves! But it all went well, although I already was stupid that my video did not work. But at least the music was, that was the main thing. Well played, I have unfortunately not, but it was very exciting to stand in front of almost 5000 people! * Wiping sweat from his forehead *

Here is some text about the experience:
The panel of Judge Chris was very interesting. He talked a lot about Michael Shanks, with whom he is very good friends.
He said MS only the worst of all watch movies. He looks, including credits and then it starts all over again, just to be sure that the movie was really bad. MS would also
a unique memory. When he saw a movie, then he can remember every scene with every single sentence in it.
CJ also admitted that he has never watched SG-1 really. In addition, he also had read only the pages in the script, in which he seemed in it. It was found It, therefore, that he and MS in hockey night on TV and forth and suddenly came across hersappten Stargate. CJ: "What is that for an episode? What happened there? "MS:" Do you remember it not? Did you even read the script !!?!?!?" CJ: "Uh ... no ..."
the beginning of SG-1 was CJ of the total party-goers and is often asleep on set. So also in some episodes during the shoot. For example, in the Epi "The Tok'ra" if Sam once again holding a long monologue, we see Teal'c in the background with closed eyes in the entire scene. Since CJ was sleeping! That I need to check more ...
Furthermore came a question about the calendar, "Men of SciFi. CJ explained that this would actually have been in the planning, but the children, the CJ and MS have received at that time, they have time so taken, that they simply could not take care of it. So it is probably still. Too bad!
Another question was then whether CJ could imagine a gay character to play. His response was totally relaxed and really convincing. He said he had no problem with it. So it is now time today. He'd only play that Chara would be gay and not himself, he finds, you should be slow to stop people to be judged by who they sleep. SO SAY WE ALL!
Nichelle Nichols was asked to tell something about the origin of the first black / white kiss on TV (between Kirk and Uhura).
When they shot the scene at that time, wanted to rehearse the scene with William Shatner kiss. The director then said only something like that he does not have to make. But WAS was stubborn and said only that it damn it stands in the script and they would spin it that way. The dispute was probably growing, so we intervened Gene Roddenberry himself. This came with a few carriers to tie the set at the said kissing scene to be seen.
After she had shown, he said only "We'll do it both ways" - So, two versions of the scene are shot, one with and one without a kiss.
When the scenes should be rotated, they turned first to the kiss. WAS was not always happy and always wanted another take. Until the time was becoming scarce and the director said at the end that they only have time for a take and turn it now would not kiss. So WAS bent above sea level, as if to kiss si, lifted up his head, looked into the camera and rolled her eyes ...!
The disaster was perfect. Gene and his tie carrier then looked at the scenes and when they then botched scene saw were comments like "This is not good" around the room. Gene was also a bit shocked, but finally he said, "To hell with it! If people in the south are not so clear, it is a bit unfortunate, "and it was the first kiss between a black and a white for the first time ever shown on television.
Nichelle told else, as she had got the job in ST. They had applied only for the role of "Spock" until it turned out that this was already taken. So it should take over the role of communications officer. There was just not quite sure how the role should be called. NN was reading a book at that time the name "Uhuru", which took her everywhere. Sun NN suggested but just a syllable or letter change to hit us, "Uhura" before. This pleased the producers right away and the name for the role was clear.
Robert Picardo told us the difference between the twist of the Star Trek set and the set of Stargate Atlantis. For ST improvise they could not change or simply sets in the script. If you wanted to do that, then you only had to call the producers and present the proposal. They decided then to A few days ago. In contrast,
SG Atlantis you just improvise during the shoot while the camera rolled. And if it was funny and it had fallen to the producers, then it was allowed to remain there. That was where everything is much looser than in Voyager.
particularly impressive and Roberts rendition of "La donna e mobile" was. He had turned the dense text that is then referred to the Fedcon, but that did nothing, his voice was really great!
If at first some facts. I am almost sure that I also will be there again next year. And who knows, perhaps there will really times David Hewlett, Ben Browder, Claudia Black, Joe Flanigan, RDA, John Barrowman ...;-)

Fun Freshman Initiation For Teams
Fed Con
is Oh, the day after the Fed Con again and I'm all jittery!
Especially because of my appearance at the costume contest on Saturday afternoon. I will act as Doci. I hope everything goes well with all the makeup and the wig .... I * do * already has a head
The only stupid thing is that I will carry along with all the hotel and then I move there until shortly before going. Before that, I will wear it yet wahrschienlich, or indeed, the whole element of surprise away. But I also have a bissel run by the Con in costume. Well let's see, maybe I take it yes then again on Sunday at ... Otherwise, I've dragged all of it at home only at times just two hours to wear! Since the effort is worth so little.

Until I have everything re-uploaded, the page is first time even as it is.

On 03/28/2009 I had a gig at after-show program of the theater group "trial period" in Eberswalde. I was naturally quite excited before. ;-) I have 3 songs sung. Among others, "Nessun Dorma", which is probably all be very well aware of Paul Potts. Here's my version: PS: please note that the quality is not very good. In some Make turns over the audio stream!
